1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TheClubTrip at theclubtrip.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TheClubTrip is a platform for outdoor and recreation clubs to organise trips, manage signups, arrange transport, and coordinate safety (SAR) information. The Service is provided free of charge.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
  • One person may not maintain more than one account

4. Club Management

  • Club admins are responsible for the content and activities within their club
  • Club admins must ensure trip information is accurate and up to date
  • Club admins are responsible for managing member data in accordance with applicable laws

5. Trip Participation

  • Trip participation is at your own risk
  • You are responsible for providing accurate medical and emergency contact information
  • Trip leaders and club admins may approve, waitlist, or decline signups at their discretion
  • TheClubTrip is a coordination tool only — we are not a trip operator and do not organise or run trips

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or systems
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications

7. Limitation of Liability

TheClubTrip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from outdoor activities coordinated through the platform. We are not responsible for the actions of club admins, trip leaders, or participants.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
